8th HERCA Summer School

Wednesday 26th - Friday 28th August 2026

Three days of chess tuition, provided by local chess coaches designed to improve your chess skills. Whether you are a total beginner or can already play there should be a place for you in one of our coached groups from basic to advanced.

Children will need to be over 6 years of age

Entry for the 3 day event is £25 per child

All equipment will be provided

All children are required to bring a packed lunch, parents are not required to stay.

All chess coaches are DBS checked

  • Registration at 9:45am
  • Lessons start at 10:00
  • Lessons finish at 3:30pm

ENTRY FEE AND ENTRY CRITERIA

  • Refunds can be requested up to 18th of August. Fee will be returned less transaction fee
  • under 18yrs old (on the day)

FORMAT

  • Children will be grouped by level of knowledge and skill
