Grading
In determining which section to enter, players should use their start of season Chess Scotland grading, as published in the CS grading list, July 2018.
Where a player does not have a CS grading, FIDE rating then national rating will be used.
For ECF rated players the conversion that will be applied is as per the CS Chief Grading Officers recommendation. ECF *10+180 = CS, so an ECF player rated 100 will convert to 1180 CS
