Event Details
The Canterbury FIDE Standard is a chess tournament at the University of Kent, featuring three sections:
- FIDE Open Standard
- FIDE U2400 Standard
- FIDE U1800 Standard
Registration and Fees
Registration is limited to 20 entries per section. Entry Fee is £50 for ECF Gold/Platinum members, with an additional £12 for others. Early Bird Discount of 20% until October 2024.
Withdrawals are allowed up to two weeks before the event. Prize money distribution depends on entries, with up to 40% for Open, 35% for U2400, and 30% for U1800. Details will be announced on 10th November 2024.
Free entry for GM, IM, and FM titleholders (including women).
